He is a Marine Scientist based at the Australian
Antarctic Division, Kingston. He specialises in invertebrates
found on the sea floor.
He visited our school and spoke to students for the first time in Term 3 2007 prior to his voyage to Antarctica over Christmas. He returned in Term 1 this year and presented some of the voyage's discoveries, including some fascinating video footage of sea-life in the depths of the Southern Ocean. He was impressed with the students' level of interest and questioning.
